Chair in Taiwanese Studies

Every year, as part of a course taught at UCLouvain, the Chair in Taiwanese Studies, under the direction of Frédéric Laugrand and Justine Vanhaelen, invites a guest speaker to lead a discussion on a topic related to Taiwan. This initiative aims to enrich academic perspectives by offering diverse viewpoints and deepening the understanding of the Taiwanese landscape. The speakers, from various backgrounds, address topics within the social sciences, thus contributing to a rich and multifaceted reflection.
